MATCHA

A moment of calm.

What is Matcha

Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder
traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies.

Unlike regular tea, you consume the entire leaf,
allowing you to experience a deeper flavor,
natural energy, and a moment of calm.

Story

SATSUMAEN is a
Japanese tea brand rooted in tradition.

We honor the essence of Japanese tea,
shaping it for modern lifestyles.

By inheriting time-honored techniques,
we create matcha that is more refined
and more meaningful.

From Miyakonojo, Miyazaki,
we bring the culture of tea to the world.

Origin

Our matcha is sourced from tea fields
in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki, Japan.

Surrounded by rich nature and a mild climate,
this region produces tea with a smooth,
balanced flavor and gentle umami.

Carefully cultivated and crafted,
our matcha reflects the character of
its origin in every cup.

Craft

Before harvest, the tea leaves are
carefully shaded from sunlight to enhance
sweetness and umami.

They are then slowly stone-ground
into a fine powder, preserving their color,
flavor, and nutrients.

This traditional process defines the character
of our matcha.
